We are creating a community ensemble of intergenerational storytellers in the welcoming home of the Queens Center for Gay Seniors in Jackson Heights, NY, in partnership with LaGuardia Community College.

Through workshops that mix theatre games, improv, poetry performance, and story circles, we are building community.

Our Stories Are Alive builds on a program in partnership with Spectrum Arts Productions called the S.G.B. Generational Bridge Program, created with Craig Anthony Bannister and supported by Apollo Boissiere, and a summer 2025 workshop led by Liliana Rebolledo Vergara, who brought her experience as a musician and activist to the group, deepening our experiences as music and song leaders. Our work continues, with thanks to the Queens Arts Fund.
